Bright Young Things/Raleigh Undercover

Alex and I really enjoy this local band called Bright Young Things. We saw them once at the Tir Na nOg in downtown Raleigh and fell in love. They have a great selection of songs on their myspace so I suggest you check them out there.

Tonight they'll be back at Tir Na nOg for an event called Raleigh: Undercover. All weekend there will be a variety of bands performing covers of songs from other bands. There will also be raffles/t-shirts/posters... and the cover is only $5. A night of fun and music for five bucks? Sounds like a great deal to me. I am beyond excited to attend this event...it's no secret that I am a big fan of live music.

So if you're in the Raleigh area and have no plans tonight (and I know you don't because college football season is OVER...right?) come join us at Tir Na nOg at 9PM. See ya there!

P.S. Thanks to everyone who responded to my plea for advice on my last blog post via twitter or the comments section...I have lots of ideas now!
